The Creator is dreaming.

We, the universe and every construct are the components of that dream. It is a sort of consciousness. The need for prayer and meditations derives from the need to be at the centre of the dream's stream and to remain a central part of the dream itself. Without prayer we lose the connection with the dream, its like a thought we might have that we lose thought is lost forever sometimes we can remember a thought from many many years ago but only by being prompted, like by the smell of cut grass or freshly baked bread.

One of the most important elements of the dream is free will, the dream is free from influence. Human consciousness shapes the dream - this is the purpose of reason...freedom. The Creator wants to experience freedom and does this through humans.

Lucifer does not want humans to have freedom and wants the energy to be under his control and influence. Lucifer is about form and structure. The Creator is like water in a glass. Lucifer would return the universe back to critical mass with no space or movement as in before the Big Bang, by current thinking. The Big Bang was simply The Creator beginning the dream - the ultimate expression of freedom is freedom from form, such as we have when we sleep.

OK, let me say right from the outset, my comic is a work of fiction based on myth and folklore from all corners and cultures of the world.

That said, there are some fascinating facts which do make you think...but that's what makes a great fantasy story work, the suspension (quite literally) of belief.

Before I examine some of these 'facts' relating to the origins element for my characters in which I refer to Genesis in the Christian Bible, its worth spending a moment to consider how the Bible came into being.

Around 320AD, Emperor Constantine of Rome (Flavius Valerius Aurelius Constantinus Augustus 7 February c. 272 – 22 May 337) became concerned about the religious conflicts growing between his Pagan empire and the growth of Christianity that was causing a civil divide and weakness at the heart of society. Persecution of Christians had already been outlawed but in 325 he took decisive action to remedy the problem in an attempt to unify the various factions and essentially come to an acceptable consensus about key elements (the divinity of Christ, Worship etc) and thus create a universally acceptable system or creed.

He brought together some 1800 bishops and religious leaders to debate and create a doctrine.

The First Council of Nicaea was the first ecumenical council of the Church. Most significantly, it resulted in the first, uniform Christian doctrine, called the Creed of Nicaea. With the creation of the creed, a precedent was established for subsequent local and regional councils of Bishops (Synods) to create statements of belief and canons of doctrinal orthodoxy— the intent being to define unity of beliefs for the whole of Christendom.

Thus Constantine's Empire became Christian.

There are 73 books in the Catholic Holy Bible, 66 books in the Protestant religions (more)

There is much debate about so called lost books of the bible , a lot of this comes from the discovery of 'The Dead Sea Scrolls' and associated conspiracy theories... but that's another story, best left to Dan Brown, but you can find a full list of lost books here

Now this is a strange thing, when I read this text from the bible I can only interpret it as there were two humans created in chapter 1 and another in chapter 2...

Genesis Chapter 1

1-27 And God created man in His own image, in the image of God created He him; male and female created He them.

1-28 And God blessed them; and God said unto them: 'Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it; and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that creepeth upon the earth.'

Genesis Chapter 2

1- 21 And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon the man, and he slept; and He took one of his ribs, and closed up the place with flesh instead thereof.

2-22 And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from the man, made He a woman, and brought her unto the man.

2-23 And the man said: 'This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.'

The Hebrew term Lilith first occurs in Isaiah 34:14, either singular or plural according to variations in the earliest manuscripts, though in a list of animals. In the Dead Sea Scrolls Songs of the Sage the term first occurs in a list of monsters. In Jewish magical inscriptions, on bowls and amulets from the 6th century CE onwards, Lilith is identified as a female demon and the first visual depictions appear.

In Jewish folklore, from the 8th–10th centuries Alphabet of Ben Sira onwards, Lilith becomes Adam's first wife, who was created at the same time and from the same earth as Adam. This contrasts with Eve, who was created from one of Adam's ribs. The legend was greatly developed during the Middle Ages, in the tradition of Aggadic midrashim, the Zohar and Jewish mysticism. In the 13th Century writings of Rabbi Isaac ben Jacob ha-Cohen, for example, Lilith left Adam after she refused to become subservient to him and then would not return to the Garden of Eden after she mated with archangel Samael.

This is a great little read for more on the legend

A marble sculpture of Medusa, created by Gian Lorenzo Bernini in 1630, is in the Capitoline Museums in Rome, Italy.

Medusa, one of the three Gorgons, daughter of Phorcys and Ceto. She was the only one of the Gorgons who was subject to mortality. She is celebrated for her personal charms and the beauty of her locks. Neptune became enamoured of her, and obtained her favours in the temple of Minerva. This violation of the sanctity of the temple provoked Minerva, and she changed the beautiful locks of Medusa, which had inspired Neptune’s love to serpents. According to Apollodorus, Medusa and her sisters came into the world with snakes on their heads, instead of hair, with yellow wings and brazen hands. Their bodies were also covered with impenetrable scales, and their very looks had the power of killing or turning to stones. Perseus rendered his name immortal by his conquest of Medusa. He cut off her head, and the blood that dropped from the wound produced the innumerable serpents that infest Africa. The conqueror placed Medusa's head on the shield of Minerva, which he had used in his expedition. The head still retained the same petrifying power as before, as it was fatally known in the court of Cepheus. . . . Some suppose that the Gorgons were a nation of women, whom Perseus conquered.

Biblical Passages: Gen. 6-8; Matt. 24:37,38; Lk. 17:26,27; I Pet. 3:20;II Pet. 2:5.

By the time of Noah building the ark in Genesis around 1700 years of Cains bloodline had prospered on the earth. Cities had been built and wickedness had consumed mankind. The creator decided to wipe this sin from the earth sparing only Noah and his immediate family.

Now we all know the story and I am going to put a twist on it for the sake of my project.

One of the things people often stumble over is how did Noah get tens of thousands of species that walk crawl and fly on the ark then sustain them for near on a year. Well we now know that every living cell contains DNA the code of life. If you were an advanced entity say like a God

then DNA would be a no brainer.

In fact you could theoretically get a million species in the boot of a car at a cellular level never mind in a ship the size of the QE2. That said what could a God whos 1st commandment is ''Place no God above me'' be so upset about? well look at how far our we have come in the last 200 years, penciling, airplanes, nuclear power, the G-nome project. The line of Cain could have done even more, since there is no evidence of just how far man could have evolved scientifically at that point I will suggest that playing God was the likely major tipping point and reasoning for the flood.

I will also suggest that the supernaturals or at least some humans must of helped Noah build the Ark although I still ponder on the line that the lord ''Shut him in'' which suggests to me that he must have been physically present to do it...any way I digress. So the supernaturals take this technology and leave the earth before the flood, returning to their domain, a place before time.

When Agatha travels there as a child on the run from Lilith she is expected to develop her innate supernatural powers...but she doesn't, the supernaturals fearful of her weakness give her a bag of rice ( well that's what it looks like) but each grain of rice is a warrior robot encapsulated in a protective membrane. Once broken the warrior robot expands to full size and defends the person who broke the membrane...thus is born the rice warrior. The average bag of rice contains 11,000 grains of rice, so she got back up.

The best examination of the flood in Genesis is found here , take a look weather you are a person of faith or the exact opposite its still a great

In Mesopotamian demonology, Lilin were hostile night spirits that attack men. They had less power than gods.

In Jewish mythology Lilin (Hebrew:לילין) is a term for night spirits. In Targum Sheni Esther 1:3 King Solomon, who commanded all spirits, had the Lilin dance before him.

In the Syriac Apocalypse of Baruch, Lilin come from the desert and they are similar to Shedim.

Nephilim in Hebrew means fallen ones, referring to giants, these images are very interesting.

The term "Nephilim" occurs just twice in the Hebrew Bible, both in the Torah. The first is Genesis 6:1–4, immediately before the story of Noah's ark:

Genesis 6:1–4

When man began to multiply on the face of the land and daughters were born to them, the sons of God saw that the daughters of man were attractive. And they took as their wives any they chose. Then the Lord said, “My Spirit shall not abide in one man forever, afor he is flesh: his days shall be 120 years.”  The Nephilim were on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of man and they bore children to them. These were the mighty men who were of old, the men of renown.
